I’m opening shop as a science fiction/fantasy novel critiquer for authors who are serious about creating professional quality work. My rate is $270 for a manuscript in the 100K word range (rates for longer works to be negotiated). What you’ll get for this is a pro critique of your novel with suggestions on how to improve it. We’ll discuss the critique and I’ll advise you on the steps to getting your work published.

To be clear about what my service doesn’t include, I won’t be copy editing, unless that’s specifically what you’d like to pay for. I’ll discuss particular changes with you, but I won’t be reviewing the complete manuscript again after your revisions, as I find that to be unproductive–you’ll have either taken my notes or not.  I also won’t be able to personally recommend the work to agents or publishers, as that would be ethically inappropriate.
